The King of Fall mix is our longtime favorite. This low-cost mix delivers a dense pack of grasses, legumes, and late-season broadleaf that works hard from planting through winter.
We start with a double hit of grasses — cold-tolerant cereal rye paired with a nurse crop of Spring Oats — then layer in cold-loving Austrian Winter Peas, Crimson Clover, and Barsica Forage Rapeseed for nitrogen fixation and ground cover. The mix finishes with a deep green pop of Daikon Radish and Barkant Forage Turnip, plus the always-requested Six Point Chicory to round it out.
The clover and chicory are coated and inoculated (C/I) with Color Up Coating for best germination and plant health.

A Note on King of Fall Packaging
King of Fall is available in 12, 25, and 45 lb sizes. The 12 lb comes in a black stand-up pouch, the 25 lb comes in a white unbranded polypropylene (PP) bag, and the 45 lb comes in a Sustain Seed + Soil branded bag.
