Description

Dutch White Clover Raw is the intermediate size of white clovers — smaller than Ladino White Clover, but flowering more profusely. It's also more heat tolerant than larger types, which is part of why Dutch White is included in most of the economically important white clover varieties grown today.

This raw, uncoated seed gives you full control over inoculation — apply your own clover-specific Rhizobium inoculant at the rate and timing that fits your operation, or skip it where soils already carry an established clover rhizobia population. Raw seed is also the better choice for custom blends, since it won't add coating bulk or color to a mix, and it flows and meters at its true seed weight.

As a low-growing perennial legume, Dutch White Clover holds up well under grazing and mowing, fixes its own nitrogen once nodulated, and tolerates poorly drained or seasonally wet ground better than most clovers — though it's less forgiving in drought than heat.
