Proso Millet is a fast growing, warm season grass. It grows best in full sun, moist to dry conditions, and can perform well in many soil types. The quick growing top growth suppresses weeds and slows erosion. Proso millet is popular with bobwhite quail, turkeys, doves, pheasants, and a variety of songbirds.
